The first of many.....

Today I stumbled upon the work of Chris Labrooy. In my introductory post, I would like to state that my design work most often involves inspiration from automotive form. The work linked in this article shares a connection to automotive form and a transformation of those shapes into a new form of art. Labrooy has used what are already masterpieces of design and twisted and distorted them into shapes that either highlight features of the car itself, or transform it into something entirely foreign. I like to think that I can adopt the essence of any auto and apply it in some way to my work as Labrooy has created such wonderful pieces of art.
